Martha Dear is looking for an experienced cook to join our team. The position is approximately 40 hours a week. Pizza experience is preferred but not required. An interest in sourdough and local flour is a plus. You will work side by side with the chef-owner, Demetri. There are opportunities for growth.
We are a full-service restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating (weather permitting), open Wednesday to Sunday. Closed for service on Monday and Tuesday.
We specialize in Greek inspired Neapolitan-style sourdough pizza. We are into natural wines mostly from Greece. If this sounds like the type of team you want to join, please apply with your resume and a note about you.
Responsibilities
Prep food for service
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare menu items in high quality and timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Stock + record inventory appropriately
Breakdown and clean station post service
Complete closing side work
Required Skills
Minimum of 1 year in a professional kitchen
